Welcome New Member, Michele Ambara – M&M Events Inspiration
I am delighted to welcome Michele, to the SMBN; here is a little about Michele:
‘I am a single mother of two children, and I am self-employed.
Before I tell you about what I do now, I’ll tell you a bit about my background: I came to England in 2009 to join my partner and after living in France for 25 years, I had to start all over again because everything was new to me, the culture, the language, the way of life. I learned English and went back to university while raising my two children. French being my mother tongue, I have been tutoring students until 2018 while working as an event coordinator.
After losing my job in the events sector at the beginning of the pandemic, I tried to find work again, but I encountered several difficulties. It was not easy in a very competitive and demanding world of work; my solution was to be self-employed.
Encouraged by my children who saw what I could do, I created my company “M&M Events Inspiration” and besides that, I contribute to the development of a range of products based on natural ingredients (cocoa butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, etc).
In addition, I support a charity “Club Naim Widows and Orphans” in the Republic of Congo (Africa) where I am originally from, with whom I collaborate on various projects such as building houses for widows, providing school supplies for children, etc. We continue to work on several projects that are close to my heart.’
