You DO NOT have to be ‘in business’ to join us. Single Mums Business applies to us all! You may be in work, in business, or aspiring towards either. Collectively we contribute to the issues that matter, and enjoy wonderful events, that do not require childcare!

YOU can join the SMBN as a MEMBER, or as a SUPPORTER

As a member, you will be, or will have been, a single mum, and can relate to the challenges in the confidential, very locked down SMBN FB group, you may be there as a swan or a fledgling, but the difference is not declared, we are all equal as members, and pay the same £10 pcm membership fee, regardless of wealth or poverty. The SMBN is not a charity, it is a business and everybody chips in to actively contribute to the work. As a member you benefit from our closed FB Group, magazine advertising (no extra cost) and priority access to events. All event tickets are first come first serve basis. IMPORTANT NOTE -If you are MLM, you can join, and you will be listed with a link to your buying page, BUT, be aware I am very vocal about saturation of the market, and the unethical way in which single mums are sold MLM as a viable alternative to work or having your ‘own’ business, in reality you are a self-employed in somebody elses business working on commission only, same for Utility Warehouse. If you join and approach members to ‘join your team’ or found to DM, you will be immediately removed as a member. I have witnessed hundreds of women struggle with these business models, working full time for a couple of hundred pound commission each month at best.

As a supporter, you will believe in the SMBN and want to support and contribute to its mission. You could be a FTSE 100, a HNW individual, an MP, a Lord, a Lady, a Prime Minister, another business networking group, a SME, an individual, a charity, a grandparent, or anything in between! Regardless of status – membership is a nominal £10 pcm! in return – if you have a business / service – you will benefit from inclusion in the magazine, you will also be on the invitation list for special events such as the official relaunch in Westminster in May 2027 and the Awards in October / November 2027.
