Heather says ‘I am passionate about helping businesses owners create robust and sustainable businesses. As a busy and “happily single” mother of 2 beautiful daughters I am lucky enough to balance the two. I believe businesses don’t know what they don’t know and I help them navigate and engage with all the often FREE support which is available, but is not easily located.’

I find it interesting that Heather mentions that she is happily single as I feel quite passionately that it is often assumed that we are not happy single and that we are waiting for prince charming to come and sweep us off our feet! Which in reality is often not the case, I too enjoy my independence and the SMBN is to support us professionally, it is not a cry for sympathy. We are just normal women looking to succeed in business united by the unique challenges that not having two incomes sometimes brings. Otherwise most of us normally feel lucky and happy to be hard-working mums and have happy healthy children.

I have no doubt of the calibre of Single Mums in the UK and the SMBN is here to ensure that these ladies get the recognition and exposure they deserve, and the best possible opportunity to succeed in enjoying their families and achieving financial freedom.
