I am delighted to welcome Clare Griffiths, University Entrepreneurship Educator, Advocate for Female Founders and Women in Business and Founder of The Thrive Effect, as a friend of the Single Mums Business Network. | BRUNCH: Female Founders Business Brunchin’, Friday, 4 December from 10am until 12pm on Zoom I am joining forces with Naomi Muston and Luca Forte – the Brighton team of Barclays Eagle Labs – to bring you an uplifting “virtual brunch” with inspiring stories of business growth. Before the pandemic, we used to host these brunches at the Brighton Eagle Lab on a quarterly basis. This Friday, we will be bringing our brunch online! Our first set of speakers are Emma Reilly and Lizzy Hodcroft, Co-Founders of Discova. With the support of Innovate UK, Emma and Lizzy have created a browser-based app which revolutionises how we view and respond to problems which affect our emotional and physical wellbeing. You will also hear from Jill Thorburn, Co-Founder of Mind Of My Own – a Tech for Good company which designs, and conscientiously co-produces with young people, world-leading apps that ensure all children have a chance to have their voices heard to safeguard themselves and promote their wellbeing.
